Welcome to the PCS Online Orientation site. This site, which is designed to prepare you for taking online courses with PCS, is organized into four modules:

• Getting Started: Find out where to access your online course, what technology you need when taking an online course, and how to submit a request for tech support.
• How to be a Successful Online Student: Hear from students on how they succeeded in their online courses and get tips on ways to successfully complete your online course.
• Navigating Canvas: Learn about Canvas, the learning management system platform that houses PCS online courses, and where to get information about using Canvas features.
• Tell Us What You Think: Provide feedback on your experience using the Orientation site.

To get started with the orientation, click the Start Orientation link below the page image. Be sure to check out the Sites Updates page for important updates and additions to the site.

Note: The Orientation site will not appear on your Dashboard Links to an external site.. When accessing the site from a link, the device you are using will determine how the site is accessed. On some devices, if you are using the Canvas Student app and access the site from a link in your online course, you might remain in the app. In other devices, if you are using the Canvas Student app and access the site from a link in your online course, your device may open the site in a mobile browser. Because Canvas is not designed to be used on mobile browsers, navigating the site on a smartphone may be a less than optimal user experience. If using a smartphone or tablet, you should launch the site in the mobile versions of Chrome or Safari.
